The First Tee Mourns the Loss of Jay Jennison The First Tee of St. Johns County is extremely saddened to learn of the loss of its past Executive Director and Development Director Jay Jennison. Jay worked at The First Tee of St. Johns County from December 2007 until his passing. Jay's character, leadership and dedication greatly contributed to the success our chapter has enjoyed. 2010 Summer Golf and Wellness Camp
Summer Tournament Series The First Tee of St. Johns County is excited to announce that it will once again be holding its Summer Junior Golf Tournament Series for junior players.
This year The First Tee has broken down the tournaments into 3 age divisions: 5- 7 Year Old Division, 8 – 12 Year Old Division, and 13 and Older Divisions.
The cost for each tournament is $20 for First Tee Members and $30 for Non-Members. Be sure to pay for the number of tournaments you are signing up for. This tournament series is designed for players of all golfing abilities. Older First Tee members and volunteers will serve as scorers for younger or inexperienced players, guiding participants through the course, maintaining pace of play, and helping participants with the rules. Jim Furyk Junior Clinic
Monday January 25, 2010, 2003 US Open Winner and 13 Time PGA Tour Champion Jim Furyk visited The First Tee of St. Johns County to provide participants with an Hour and a Half Clinic.
Support The First Tee and Play TPC Sawgrass New and renewing Ambassador Members of The First Tee of St. Johns County will now receive a discounted round of golf at both TPC Sawgrass Player's Stadium Course and Dye's Valley Course as well as, two complimentary weekly passes for the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open, a Nationwide Tour event played at Dye's Valley Course the week of October 18-24th.
