2nd Annual Ambassador Night A Huge Success
The First Tee of St. Johns County held its 2nd Annual Ambassador Night last Thursday at The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. The event was a great success raising over $9500. Billy Kratzert served as the guest speaker alongside two First Tee superstars, Jeremy Eaton and Austin Cothron. Kratzert, a PGA Professional and TV Commentator spoke on his unique golf experiences growing up while a caddie at a golf course at Fort Wayne Country Club. Jeremy and Austin, both First Tee Birdie Level participants, spoke on the impact The First Tee of St. Johns County has had on their lives and their love for the game of golf.
The night was capped off with a silent auction that raised $3000 towards The First Tee programs. Some of the donated items included Foursomes of golf at TPC Sawgrass, Palencia C.C., Deerwood C.C., Marsh Creek, Marsh Landing and many more. The PGA Tour and the Tour Academy donated golf lessons, while several local restaurants donated gift certificates.
The First Tee would like to thank The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club as well as all those who were able to attend the event and all those who donated to the silent auction.

St. Augustine Amateur Benefits The First Tee
The
St. Augustine Amateur is a national event
established in 2004 for better amateurs and collegiate
players. Played over three days at stroke play,
the field this year is so far comprised of players
from 14 different states. The winner will receive
a replica of our trophy designed by Heritage Creations
of Glens Falls, NY. Net
proceeds of the event will go to benefit The
First Tee of St Johns County .
