Summer Tournament Series
The First Tee of St. Johns County is excited to announce that it will once again be holding its Summer Junior Golf Tournament Series for junior players.

This year The First Tee has broken down the tournaments into 3 age divisions:
5- 7 Year Old Division, 8 – 12 Year Old Division, and 13 and Older Divisions.

The cost for each tournament is $20 for First Tee Members and $30 for Non-Members.  Be sure to pay for the number of tournaments you are signing up for. This tournament series is designed for players of all golfing abilities. Older First Tee members and volunteers will serve as scorers for younger or inexperienced players, guiding participants through the course, maintaining pace of play, and helping participants with the rules.  Click learn more to sign up.

A/B Honor Roll
Twice annually, Chapters report to the home office their participants who have earned all As and/or Bs (or the equivalent) on their report cards.  All participants, regardless of age, are eligible for this recognition.  At the end of each semester, participants should bring their report card to their Chapter.  A member of the staff should verify the grades, and indicate such in the database record of the participant under Participant Tracking.  The home office pulls the current list from the database and creates high-quality certificates which are then signed by executive director Joe Louis Barrow, Jr.  The certificates are mailed directly to the Chapter for distribution.
The First Tee Life Skills Experience

The First Tee Life Skills Experience is one of the unique features that differentiates The First Tee from many other successful junior golf programs.  Through the Life Skills Experience, participants learn valuable lessons about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude; how to make decisions by thinking about the possible consequences and how to define and set goals from the golf course to everyday life.
The First Tee Certification Process

The First Tee wants everyone who completes The First Tee Experience to have acquired basic golf skills and to be able to demonstrate certain fundamental life skill concepts – such as interpersonal communication and the importance of rules and etiquette.
The First Tee Coach
