VOLUNTEERS
The First Tee of St. Johns County is a non-profit organization that can only do so much with the resources we have. By adding volunteer staff members to our current staff we will be able to make a greater impact on our community.
If you are possibly interested in volunteering please fill out the contact information on the link below and we will inform you of our next volunteer orientation.
The First Tee of St. Johns County is looking for volunteers in the following areas:
Volunteer Coach: The First Tee of St. Johns County is looking for people to help coach our participants in a variety of ways. Some Golf Experience Perferred.
Life Skills Experience Assistant Coach: This program is The First Tee's bread and butter. As an assistant coach, you will work underneath a lead instructor, and assist in delivering both life skills and golf skills to participants. Classes typically run in 8 week sessions (Spring, Summer, and Fall).
Assistant Summer Camp Counselor: This summer The First Tee of St. Johns County is hosting 5 weeks of Summer Camps. Camps will have up to 24 participants and we need assistant councelors to help run an efficient camp.
League Play/Summer Tournament Series Scorer and Mentor: As a Scorer, you will be responsible to help participants move throughout the golf course, teaching participants proper ettiqutte, rules, and pace of play.
Front Desk/Administrative Help: Please help us answer phones, respond to e-mails, and provide much needed administrative help.
Gardening/Beautification: We want our facility to be beautiful for our participants to come to. Many participants don't come from the best of homes and we want our facility to be a nice, safe place where they will want to come.
Public Relations, Fundraising, and Events: Once again, The First Tee of St. Johns County is a non-profit organization, and is completely community supported. Therefore, we can always use help getting our name out in the community, telling our story, and raising additional monies.
